Mario Bros. Party

I was excited to make these cupcake toppers for a good friend of mine's son, Roman.  They were time consuming, to say the least, but I love how they turned out...and so did Roman!

Landon's 1st Birthday party!

My sweet nephew, Landon turned 1 a few weeks ago. I was lucky enough to get to make the cake for his party. It was an adorable airplane theme, and I had such a fun time recreating the airplane for the cake topper. The cake was a vanilla buttermilk cake filled with organic raspberry preserves and swiss meringue buttercream and iced with swiss meringue buttercream.

Katelyn's 4th Birthday

I can't believe my little girl is 4! Made these pink and purple cupcake sugar cookies decorated with royal icing for her party favors. They were delicious...wish I'd made more so I could have kept some for myself! The cupcakes were simple, but good too. Strawberry butter cake and vanilla buttercream.

Ryan's First Birthday

It's been a long time since I've done a cake. I've missed it. This yellow butter cake filled with dark chocolate, chocolate chip buttercream was for my son's first birthday. The dinosaurs are made from all fondant. The mini cake is just a vanilla cake iced with vanilla buttercream for the birthday boy. The #1 cookies are sugar iced with Royal Icing.

Mom's 60th

These vanilla bean cupcakes were made for my mom's 60th birthday party. She wanted cupcakes instead of a cake. The cake was delicious...first time I've tried the recipe. Frosted with buttercream and topped with fondant flowers to match the party.

Katelyn turns 2!

My little girl just celebrated her 2nd birthday. I made this cake to go with her Abby Cadabby party. I wasn't brave enough to try and sculpt Abby, so I just made a cake with matching colors. Bottom tier was a sour cream yellow cake frosted with buttercream, top tier is a lemon cake frosted with buttercream. All stripes, polka-dots, stars and #2 are fondant.
