This was a special cake made for my Mom's birthday. It took me quite a few times to make the fondant bow the way I wanted, but I'm happy with how it turned out. The cake was yellow, torted twice. The middle layer was filled with lemon swiss meringue buttercream and fresh raspberries. The other two layers filled with lemon SMB. My first time making swiss meringue buttercream, and although it's much more time consuming than an "American" buttercream, it was delicious and I will be using it from now on.
